Today, I spent an hour and half dealing with UPS by way of phone, all to find an account number to get a past shipment invoice, only to hit a zillion brick walls and hang up cursing blindly into the void.
I live in the most expensive city in North America. Europe’s facing a war, and people are dying by the hundreds of thousands in wars from Ukraine to Yemen to places we don’t even know about in our sheltered pockets of chaos and distraction. The future feels grim.
