Today got away from me, like a small frightened mouse running from a cocky cat. Just gone, before I could do much else about it. There was stuff to be done, things to be taken care of, conversations to be had, skies to be looked at, cigarettes to be smoked, wine to be drunk…
This is by no means a frightening song. But it is witch related, and I can imagine an acid vision may have taken place sometime before this as recorded, and those can be a whole other type of fear.
Regardless, or should I say, no matter how hard I try to make this fit, this is a great six minutes of British psych folk.
I’m gonna have to work to get back into the fearing mood, I guess.
