Hello internet pals of music. Today we’re gonna set the week up with this track from the masterpiece soundtrack to the film Blade Runner.
There is rain, and there is more rain. And it goes on like the in and out breathing of a sleeping cat, only stopping occasionally. But everything stays wet and slick. For all of you not in the Pacific Northwest, the disappointment of March is that it should start spring, but all spring really is, is more rain.

Which is why I’m thinking of Blade Runner this morning.
Rain slicked streets, neon puddles and endless sunlessness. How fitting and ultimately drab.
Maybe it also causes a reflection on how we declare ourselves alive in this pepper grinder of modern living.
I’m alive, and I bite down on my tongue to remind myself of it.

Musik Klub: “Everythang’s Workin”
If I remember correctly, at the end of Bladerunner they seemed to solve all their problems by getting in a helicopter(?) and flying off to what looked like Vancouver Island. Simple.
