Still taking a bit of recuperation time after a melancholic week of goodbyes, last gazes at mountains, and sweet human kindness followed by a twelve hour frenzy of late night flying into chaotic Covid incubator-airports, gun rights t-shirts, huge open skies and man…I just need a moment to breathe for a sec. Stuff is gonna return this week for free and paid subscribers.

This is a beautiful album, on the whole, but this song always particularly stuck out to me. That’s Don Cherry on the trumpet. I still have a Maxell XLII with this on one side, and Hassan Hakmoun The Fire Within on the other, and I may as well give you a taste of that as well.
