Hello internet pals of music. Today’s song is from 90s Austin / San Antonio punk band who probably should be more well-known.
It’s 11 at night.
I’m older, I’m tired, and the kettle is on in the other room. Soon I’ll drink peppermint tea and probably go to bed, winding down with an episode of some nameless, faceless show designed to do the very thing I want it to do: distract and dull me into a vacant sleep.

This record is 30 years old. Thirty years ago my body wouldn’t have been able to stop buzzing until after midnight, at the earliest.
Now it’s 11:11 at night.
No, I’m going to listen to this again, just one more time and remember all the times I stayed up late and did all the things I used to do.
