I love this so much as it brings back memories. Memories of science classes where you actually made shit (and dissected things) rather than sat at a desk listening to a teacher drone on. And, memories of seeing Metallica in 1984 with Cliff. It must have been 'Ride The Lightning,' as it was a tiny club with Armored Saint opening for them. My dad wouldn't take me, so he asked a younger guy at his work to take his son. Kinda weird, but fuck it, I saw Metallica at a small club when I was 15!
I also dig Endless Boogie and kites, but I don't remember making one in middle school. Maybe I did. I can't remember now. I do remember, however, a friend giving me a golf umbrella and telling me if I jumped off my roof, it would work as a parachute. It didn't...🤬
