Hello internet pals of music. Today’s song is a 70s R&B deep cut released on the Miami Soul label.
Two minutes of lead-in, from dropping facts into singing pleas. Beautiful. I want Latimore to straighten it out, I can tell he wants to. I can feel the silk bedsheets of this song. They’re burgundy. I see the hurt in every lover’s eyes. Straighten it out, y’all.

Musik Klub: “Everythang’s Workin”
I first heard this song years ago, at 311 Club on 6th Street. A blues band covered it. I immediately thought, "What is that song??" When I got home that night, I searched until I found it. I can testify that it sounds great played on a Strat with bluesy leads.
